Contos wants your teenage boys to understand sex

At 15, I learnt that what I considered regular male sexual behaviour was criminal. My realisation helped ignite a national movement.

I’m 15 years old and my school has booked a speaker for the Year 10 students. I am excited because it means I get to miss science and spend the day with two friends I don’t normally see in class. I am thinking about this way more than the talk we are about to hear.

We position ourselves to the far right of the speaker near the door of the gym so that we can chat in whispers, in anticipation that we will inevitably get bored. But we don’t. The speaker starts to talk authoritatively about a range of sexual scenarios. The three of us give each other knowing looks; our friends have experienced many of the scenarios he describes. More notably, our male friends have done many of the scenarios he describes.
