Victoria will go ahead with the Boxing Day cricket Test, the Australian Open tennis and Christmas celebrations after acting Premier James Merlino said it had to honour promises made to the public after the state reached 92 per cent adult vaccine coverage.
“[There will be] no cap at the Boxing Day Test, no cap for visitors at home to celebrate Christmas and the new year,” Mr Merlino said.
