Royal commission 'shocked and disturbed' by aged care evidence

Victorian health department officials directed aged care staff tested for coronavirus to keep working until they got their results back, a health union boss told the aged care royal commission.
And federal Health Department officials scrambled to defend their handling of coronavirus outbreaks in hearings on Wednesday, as commissioner Lynelle Briggs expressed alarm at evidence given by a health union head.
