COVID-19 is changing the power balance between patients and their doctors by accelerating the adoption of new technologies, according to leading medical futurist Dr Bertalan Mesko.
Dr Mesko said the virus was transforming the traditional hierarchy by creating a more equal partnership between the patient and the health provider.
