Australia faces the music in China
Our political system has never dealt with the results of mass immigration from a country whose intentions and policies are now often regarded as hostile to Australia’s interests.

A business with annual revenue of more than $750 million here last year has less than half that this year, dwindling fast. A once 1000-strong workforce is headed towards 100. This week the company dumped its $1 million annual sponsorship of the Canberra Raiders.
Support for Australia’s decision two years ago to dump Huawei from any role in the 5G mobile network on national security grounds has only hardened since, of course.
