The death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in Rafah is another nail in the coffin of the terrorist organisation and further dismantles Iran’s capacity to cause regional havoc via its proxy network.

Worse for Iran, the US has made it clear it will back Israel while taking a harder line against the Houthis in Yemen, who are realising there is a price for being Iran’s friend. What happens over the next two months will challenge Iran and redefine Middle East security.
