The fund manager who successfully campaigned against Labor’s policy to change franking credits, Geoff Wilson, is taking on one of Australia’s richest local councils, claiming its extreme climate change planning will wipe millions of dollars off property values and send insurance costs higher.

Mr Wilson, who purchased a $6.5 million property 50 metres from Sunshine Beach on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast this year, has made a submission protesting aspects of Noosa Council’s Coastal Hazards Adaptation Plan.
