In an era where fads come and go faster than you can wind a watch, the hottest trend in watchmaking turns out to be distinctive for its staying power. Walking the halls of Watches and Wonders in Geneva, it’s clear the craze for timepieces with integrated bracelets is going strong.

“There’s still this big cultural moment for the integrated bracelet watch; we haven’t seen a full cycle yet,” says the chief executive of IWC Schaffhausen, Chris Grainger-Herr. “These watches have this relevance to the way we live our lives today because they are versatile and can go from being very dressy to very sporty.”
