The politest thing I can say is that the opinion piece by Tim Buckley and Annemarie Jonson (“Record high for renewables blows up Coalition’s nuclear con”) is it is intellectually disreputable.

Mr Buckley (who describes himself as a “clean energy advocate”) and Ms Jonson (who describes herself as a “climate advocate”) appear to have a preconceived notion that nuclear power is terrible, and they go to great lengths in their article to assemble facts, assertions and a little hyperbole to support their cause (I won’t call it a crusade).
