What is Israel’s plan to win the peace?

Without seeking a lasting peace settlement that includes a Palestinian state, Israel has little prospect of winning the “war” to rehabilitate itself in the international community.

It’s been 634 days since the horrific October 7 terrorist attacks and Israel has won the war in the Middle East. Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon are essentially destroyed. The Israeli air strikes that degraded Iran’s military and civilian leadership were capped off by the US bombing of Tehran’s nuclear facilities.

The military success against its enemies has restored Israel’s security, along with renewing the powerful backing of its most important ally, America. Another chapter has been written in the Jewish state’s 77-year-long struggle for survival surrounded by hostile forces in the world’s most volatile region.
