Quotas won’t produce more female founders in VC. Here’s what will

Governments funding innovative companies at an earlier stage of development – not quotas for grants – would be the best way to overcome venture capital’s dearth of female founders and skew to the inner-city.
That is the conclusion of former Technology Council of Australia chief executive Kate Pounder, who is preparing to hand a review of innovation policy to the NSW government within weeks.
