It’s time to take on our airport monopolists

An increase in landing slots at Sydney Airport should be the cue to reform passenger services controlled by monopolistic airports.

I could not agree more with Scott Charlton, CEO of Sydney Airport, when he wrote in The Australian Financial Review last Friday that the time is right for aviation reform.

Qantas and Jetstar make up 65 per cent of the market industry in Australia.
