Fifth SA Liberal steps down from senior role over perks saga
A fifth South Australian Liberal has stepped down from a senior role in the wake of controversy over claiming of expenses and perks in a further embarrassment for Premier Steven Marshall.
Adrian Pederick told Mr Marshall on Thursday morning he would be resigning as government Whip. The Premier said the resignation was being made out of an ''abundance of caution'' with the issue becoming a major distraction for the party, but that Mr Pederick had complied with the rules.
