Bashing business won't change our China trade reality
China hawks accuse business magnates of selling out the country. Engaging with other giant markets would be wonderful – if only they existed.

On April 30, Peter Jennings, executive director of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, said of Australia’s best-connected businesspeople with China: “They have to understand the national interest is more important than a handful of wealthy businessmen continuing to make themselves rich dealing with an authoritarian China.”
