Tribeca founder David Aylward is ready to move on from the star power of his former stockpicker Jun Bei Liu – he says there are other ways to bring in money. But he does have one eye on rebooting her old hedge fund.

Liu took over Tribeca’s Alpha Plus long-short strategy in 2019 and helped grow the fund from around $350 million in assets to more than $1.5 billion before she left to start her own firm.
