Sydney’s Macquarie Street, home to some of Australia’s most deep-pocketed money managers, has just welcomed its newest entrant: high-profile stock picker Jun Bei Liu and her new investment firm, TenCap.

Liu and co-founder Jason Todd, who until late last year was the chief investment officer at Commonwealth Bank’s private bank, have set up shop in the city’s central business district, taking up a whole floor as they prepare to start trading on February 1.
