Telstra boss Vicki Brady retreats from the ‘telco for everything’

Telstra boss Vicki Brady couldn’t be clearer about her priorities as she closes in on two years running Australia’s biggest telco group.
The era of hotchpotch acquisitions and experimenting with non-telco services like selling energy plans is over. Instead, Brady wants to return to Telstra’s roots: “connectivity and telecommunications infrastructure”, as she described it after delivering Telstra’s annual result on Thursday.
