JobKeeper IR flexibilities 'essential' to saving jobs, review finds

Both employers and unions have praised JobKeeper's workplace flexibilities to cut hours and stand down workers as crucial to ensuring jobs during the COVID-19 crisis, with the government pointing to the feedback to justify their extension.

An independent review of the Morrison government's temporary industrial relations flexibilities released on Tuesday found three out of four employers on JobKeeper had used the flexibilities and that the feedback from all sides had been positive.
