How to succeed as a banker of the future

Ask senior bankers what skills their junior colleagues will need and they don't waste much time. The successful bankers of tomorrow will need to be adaptable, resilient, empathetic and emotionally intelligent. They will also need strong digital skills, including knowledge of data and analytics.

Ask the experts what advice they would give up-and-coming bankers, and they waste even less time. Seek out new experiences rather than being hell-bent on climbing straight up the ladder. The faster you can learn and adapt, the more valuable you will be in a fast-changing world.
