Australia has now activated its emergency response plan to deal with COVID-19. Scott Morrison has not waited for the World Health Organisation to formally declare pandemic conditions – where multiple epidemics are erupting globally – to use all the federal and state governments’ joint powers and resources to fight a virus that has now taken 2800 lives worldwide.
