A last-minute backflip by Pauline Hanson has saved the Morrison government from embarrassment over its failure to release a secret report into the damaging sports rorts affair.
Labor had targeted Coalition Senate leader Mathias Cormann over a report into the conduct of former minister Bridget McKenzie, gathering crossbench support to strip him of the right to represent Prime Minister Scott Morrison in Parliament if it was not released.
