It’s important to do things that scare you, says this brewery founder

First memory of riding a bike? I was about six years old, and I dragged my bike to the top of a super steep driveway at our home in North Carolina, got on and went straight down. Only problem was I didn’t know how to use my brakes, so I crashed pretty hard. I still have a scar on my arm.
