How did you start playing golf?
My mum was a passionate golfer and a member of the Woodlands Golf Club in Mordialloc. She introduced me to the game, often taking me out for late evening rounds when the course was quiet. Some of my earliest memories are of those rounds – just me, Mum and the course. I eventually became a member at Woodlands myself. Once I got my driver’s licence, golf became a regular Friday afternoon ritual with my mates at Brighton and Sandringham. It was all about having fun, enjoying the game and challenging ourselves. Those early years shaped my love of the sport.
