These days, former competitive swimmer Jill Berry takes to the water for fun – and to help keep others safe in the surf. She answers our Time Out Q&A.
Jill Berry is the co-founder and chief executive of open banking platform Adatree. She lives in Bondi.
Why swimming and how did you get into it?
My dad was on his swim team growing up, so when I was getting into sports in year six, I naturally leaned towards the pool. For about nine years, I trained for 21 hours a week in the pool for my high school and university’s elite swim teams.
