Sydney, as all Sydneysiders know, has wide beaches, a scenic harbour, sunny weather and extensive public transport.

What it doesn’t have is a district of bars and nightclubs that draws in fun-seekers from across the metropolis. Which is why Sydney can be, especially for newcomers and visitors, simultaneously beautiful and boring.
