When Shannon Martinez was preparing to reopen her beloved Melbourne restaurant, Smith & Daughters in Collingwood, she knew that her staff would need to wear uniforms to befit the new venue and revamped menu.

“At the old restaurant, it was very DIY, very casual,” she says, “Even a bit grungy. The staff wore black T-shirts and jeans.”
