Three days a week, Jonathan Cattana catches the ferry from his home in Sydney’s Rose Bay to Circular Quay, a short distance from his office in the CBD.

On at least two of those days, he’ll head out to lunch at one of his preferred eateries in the Quay precinct: the smart-casual Grana at Hinchcliff House, for a bowl of pasta or a pork cutlet or, if time is tight, a quick toasted sandwich and a coffee at the always-packed This Way Canteen.
