The Melbourne Cup might be the race that stops the nation, but for Jackie Frank, it’s more of a heart-starter.

“I can’t think of anything that fuelled my love of fashion more than the races,” says Frank, the former editor and publisher of marie claire magazine, and veteran Fashions on the Field judge. “It really ignited my love for the creative side of clothing.”
