It’s pouring in Sydney when I meet Olivia Bond at her bespoke-jewellery studio in Double Bay. The certified gemmologist, diamond grader and private jeweller greets me with a warm handshake that’s equal parts inviting and business-like.
The weather outside might be wild, but Bond – tall and slender in a relaxed navy suit, with translucent skin and a thick mane of shoulder-length, chocolate-brown hair – is perfectly polished, almost regal.
