How Zoë Foster Blake bought back her business (for a tenth of the price)
After making a pile of money buying back the Nine Network, Kerry Packer famously said you only get one Alan Bond in your lifetime. For Zoë Foster Blake, her Bond-like deal came at the end of last year.
She and her co-founders sold half their skincare business for $89 million in 2021. In December, she bought that stake back for a tenth of the price. And in an interview with The Australian Financial Review’s fashion editor Lauren Sams, she spoke about the deal for the first time.
