Emily Weiss is the founder of beauty company Glossier. She shares a few of her favourite things. From the upcoming summer issue out on October 12.

Emily Weiss wears Cecilie Bahnsen. “Now she’s doing ready-to-wear, and it’s so cool,” she says.

‍My style signature is …
Changing a lot since becoming a parent two years ago. My style has always been very era-specific, and now I’m in my mum era. I am very utilitarian; I like either a tight, high-waisted jean, maybe from Loewe, or a baggy boyfriend jean. I’ve found a pair at The Frankie Shop: I have them in two colours, black denim with a blue contrast waistband, and white denim with a tan waistband. I am obsessed with them and wear them all the time. I wear a lot of sweaters, like from People’s Republic of Cashmere.

The most fabulous item in my wardrobe is …
A black feathered jacket from Yves Saint Laurent from the 1970s that I found in a vintage store in Toronto when we opened a Glossier store there. I’ve reduced my wardrobe significantly – I have five bags, 15 or 20 shoes. I like to see everything, otherwise I never reach for it. But I will never part with that jacket. I wear it all the time.
