What’s the best Father’s Day gift for the man who has everything? How about a lesson in humility, cleverly disguised as a fun day out on the snow?
We recently went off to experience just that with the AMG Winter Sporting Performance Training program in New Zealand. It was something of a catch-up lesson; I’d been booked in a similar course at Arjeplog, Sweden, a couple of years back and it was cancelled because the ice wasn’t thick enough. Considering we were at the rim of the Arctic Circle in winter, this was a worry for the future of this type of driving (and, to a slightly greater degree, the planet).
