Start dusting off your badge collections, people, as they may be worth a small fortune. Of course, it helps if you’re well-known and your badges are about the madness of US presidential elections. The late Clive Evatt, famed defamation barrister, ticks both boxes.
In the 1980s, Evatt began to collect badges of US presidential campaigns with agnostic enthusiasm, gathering up sentiments from the broad political spectrum – from “Nixon bugs me” to “I’m for Nixon”, “Hillary for President” to “Women for Trump”.
