It’s fourth time lucky for the superhero family, with a film that is a light, bright and welcome addition to the universe.

The fourth film iteration of the superhero family (and third casting of the foursome) has bounced into cinemas this week with all the optimism of Johnny Storm as he meets a woman. That optimism isn’t misplaced for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, a fun blockbuster that entertains ably without reinventing the spaceship. It’s a light, bright and welcome addition to the Marvel film universe.
