Tony Ellwood has ridden the emotional rollercoaster of COVID-19 as much as anyone, before the reopening of the National Gallery of Victoria on Saturday, June 27.

When we spoke last week, the director was also planning his wedding to long-time partner Tom Mosby, a lawyer originally from the Torres Strait and best known for his stint on MasterChef, for this Saturday.
