Michelle Garnaut is the Australian-born, Hong Kong-based owner of Shanghai’s M on the Bund and Glam restaurants. She has owned restaurants in Beijing and Hong Kong and is also the organiser of literary festivals in Shanghai and Beijing, as well as the Shanghai International Chamber Music Competition.

She spoke with The Australian Financial Review China correspondent Michael Smith.
