The 2019 bushfires and subsequent pandemic made us think about air – and now architect Nic Brunsdon wants us to see it.

Perth-based Brunsdon’s (This is) Air exhibit – the National Gallery of Victoria’s 2023 Architecture Commission – is a 15-metre-diameter sphere that “breathes” in 15-minute cycles.
