The Attorney-General has slapped down Jetstar and the Transport Workers Union over their increasingly bitter pay dispute which escalated Friday with plans for a strike that could affect 200 flights and 20,000 passengers.
Christian Porter took aim at the warring parties for the toll their quarrel would take on the tourism sector, in one of the most significant government attacks on an industrial row since Qantas Airways grounded its fleet in 2011.
