Flight cancellations, delays worsen as airlines hit bad weather

Domestic flight cancellations and delays worsened in July as the major airlines killed almost 3000 services between them, but Qantas and Virgin Australia insist their performance started to improve in August.

It continues the turgid trend of delays and scrapped flights for local aviation as airlines struggle to fill key staffing gaps and meet rampant demand for travel.
