The good news for Virgin Airlines customers is new chief executive Paul Scurrah does not appear to like waiting around.

Scurrah took the senior seat at the Virgin’s Brisbane HQ on March 25. And almost the first thing the new guy did was reopen negotiations with the world’s biggest aircraft manufacture over a $US2 billion-plus fleet order of nearly nine years' standing.
