Deposit shenanigans alleged in travel refund spat

Airlines and cruise companies are facing claims of trickery in delaying customer refunds, ranging from outdated cheques to forcing full payments on trips before returning any money.
The complaints have been raised in the travel agency industry and mark another phase in multibillion dollar efforts to refund frustrated customers who cannot travel in the pandemic.
