NBL postpones season opener on virus outbreaks

Basketball fans in NSW and Victoria will be waiting some weeks before they can see a game in the flesh after the national league postponed its opening match and restricted the first two rounds to virus-free locations.
In response to the outbreaks in Sydney and Melbourne, the National Basketball League postponed the opening match planned for regional Victoria this Sunday between the two Melbourne teams.
