The National Basketball League has backpedalled on plans to appoint a new company to run its travel arrangements following a messy phone call with clubs that revealed billionaire Larry Kestelman partly owns the agency.
Kestelman, who owns the NBL and part of the WNBL, is under intense scrutiny after the owner of reigning champions the Illawarra Hawks filed a claim with the Supreme Court over concerns about how competition is run.
