Some Sydney Cricket Ground members missed out on tickets to the Sydney Swans’ preliminary final on Friday, after a surge in demand caused delays with the platform used to allocate tickets to members.

Swans tickets are much sought after this season, as the eastern suburbs-based outfit surged to the top of the table and overcame cross-town rival the GWS Giants in a sold-out game to secure a home ground grand final qualifier for the second time in three years.
