Mydeal.com sales growth slows as consumers return to stores

Sales at online retailer MyDeal.com grew faster than Kogan.com’s in the March quarter but momentum slowed significantly as consumers returned to shopping malls and high street stores.

In a trading update on Tuesday, the recently listed online home and lifestyle marketplace said gross sales rose 104.5 per cent to $44.7 million in the three months ended March 31, lifting gross sales for the nine months to date by 177.4 per cent to $171.4 million.
