Celebrity chef Maggie Beer finds it a “little unreal” to see her name up in lights on the stock exchange next to corporate heavyweights such as Macquarie Group and health insurer Medibank Private.

But she says the rebadging of the corporate entity that owns the Maggie Beer Products gourmet food business to Maggie Beer Holdings 18 months ago has brought the group extra purpose and a daily reminder to everyone involved, as a staff member or a shareholder, that integrity and high quality are paramount.
