Gourmet food company ASX-listed Longtable Group intends on changing its name to Maggie Beer Holdings Ltd in mid-July to better harness the celebrity power of chef and author Maggie Beer, who sold her food products business for $25 million-plus to the group in a two-step transaction in 2016.
Longtable will seek approval from shareholders on July 16 for the change at an online general meeting, as sales from the Maggie Beer Products business accelerate in tough economic conditions.
