Labor’s planned shake-up of Australia Post, which would bring an end to daily letter deliveries, could be blocked in the Senate if the opposition deems regional services will be cut as a result.
The Greens and crossbench senators on Tuesday reserved their right to force a vote on the regulatory changes, and Coalition spokesman David Coleman said they would be opposed if regional communities were left under-serviced.
