eBay’s revenue growth slows despite e-commerce boom

eBay Australia appears to have missed out on the boom in online spending fuelled by the coronavirus crisis, despite retaining its title as the most popular e-commerce site in Australia.

eBay’s revenue in Australia and New Zealand rose just 2.5 per cent to $62.3 million in the 12 months ending December 31, after growing 26 per cent to $60.8 million in 2019, according to accounts lodged with the corporate regulator this week.
