When Appliances Online launched in 2005, it offered free removal and recycling of old fridges and washing machines as a means of  improving sustainability and earning customer loyalty from day one.

Nearly 20 years later, the retailer has stopped 80,000 tonnes of electronics and appliances from being dumped in landfill.
